Friends of Wyke Regis Gardens

 

The Wyke Regis Gardens were opened on 5th June 1938 on Home Close.

 

The gardens have:

Children's Playground

2 Hard Courts

Wildlife Garden

Benches
Planted Beds

To help protect and improve Wyke Regis Garden (at the top of Portland Road) and its facilities, local residents have formed a Friends group.

You can show your support by becoming a member of the group for a fee of £1.

 

You can also show your support by helping with:
Litter Picking

Clearing Overgrown Vegetation

Tending flowerbeds

Digging, planting and pruning

Organising/Participating in events

 

Fundraising Events have in the past included:
Baking

Teddy Bear Story Time

 

If you have any ideas for future fundraising events or would like to let us know what you would like to see in thegarden please get in touch.

 

We have meetings every couple of months, and keep in touch by email.


The Friends operate under the aegis of Wyke Regis Protection Society, Chairman Richard Price.
